• Credibility – learn how can you raise your own level of personal recognition as a project manager
• Leading with Influence – more intense look at people’s behavioural styles and how you as a project manager can lead and guide individual members of your team by recognizing what motivates and blocks them
• Experiential learning exercises help you to understand the two essential parts of being an effective project manager – giving a sense of direction and fostering relationships and teamwork.
• You will learn to recognize different stages of maturity in your team and be able to select the appropriate leadership behaviour to help your team achieve results
• You will gain more self-confidence when making decisions, understanding when individual inputs and team involvement is necessary – and when it is not
• You will learn to deal with conflict situations – both internal (within the team) and external (with other stakeholders in the project environment)
• When dealing with conflict, learn to negotiate in such a manner that you can achieve a win-win allowing you to realize your project objectives related to time, cost and quality
• You will learn what consensus really is and understand the phases that team members need to go through – from rejection to agreement and full-hearted support
• You will become more confident in putting together project reports that come to the point and are relevant for various stakeholders
